Presentation Browser Module

The presentation browser module allows its user to create a zoomable, interactive catalog of presentations done on an event (or multiple events). Nicely categorized and searchable, it can be an invaluable tool for the presentation junkie. The module comes with a specialized Zoomery viewer, that allows end-users to search between the presentations by presenter name or supplied tags, or even watch the video recording of the presentations while they are looking at the presentation slides. If supplied with the proper markers, the module even supports synchronized video playback, so it can show the slides as they were shown during the original session while the user is watching the video, allowing the viewer to feel as if they were really there.

Maybe the most prominent uses of this module are our Zoomery MIX sites we created for both the 2009 and the 2010 Microsoft MIX conferences. You can check these out by clicking on the links below:

Please note, that as all Zoomery samples and demos, these ones also require you to have the Silverlight plug-in installed. It is a quick download, less than 5 megabytes, and works on Windows and Macintosh, in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera or Google Chrome.

Zoomery on the Windows Phone 7

The presentation browser is our first WP7 Zoomery application, showing that the power of Zoomery can very well be used on the new Microsoft phones as well. Check out the following video to see it in action.
